The Downtown Dreamer is the premier located condo accommodation in Columbus. Directly facing Goodale Park on its Southwest corner, its best in class location is a few minutes (250 feet to 1/2 a mile) walking distance to all of your Convention Center, Nationwide Arena District, Short North and Downtown recreational and business endeavors.

The space

First off all, our space gets its best ratings due to its amazing location. It’s truly one of the best being directly a crossed from one of the most beautiful parks in all of Columbus, Goodale Park. That being stated, it’s right off 670 where it meets goodale so it does come with a bit of street noise. Although our home is a bit older, this space comes fully furnished with all of your modern lodging accommodations including a full kitchen with a full set of dishes, cooking utensils, high end dishwasher, oven, microwave and stove top. Our living area is furnished decoratively with plenty of seating arrangements, lush leather couches, a desk area and television set. The bedroom houses a closet for storage with a queen sized bed for two. Extra guests can sleep comfortably on our high end air mattress or leather couch. A shared washer and dryer is available on the basement level along with additional storage. Also an amazing feat, this space comes with free off street parking, a rarity in any greater metropolitan area. Most other houses in the area have to deal with the hassle of having to park off street with a guest pass through the city but our guests do not and can come and go as they wish!

Guest access

Guests have access to everything with in their private condo, two parking spots in the back lot with one in the front and the second directly behind the first. Guests share a lobby and patio with one other condo on the first floor.

This place was spotless! Looks exactly like the photos. Very comfy sectional and bed. It is quite noisy as its right next to the freeway exit that backs up a few times a day. Also the bedroom is right next to the front door. Between people going up and down the steps and in and out the door if you're a light sleeper this isn't for you. Other than that beautiful place with awesome prices.

Awesome little place for the value. Super easy walk to Nationwide Arena. Off street parking was great for the area. Bed was comfy enough and the sectional was super comfy in the living room. Didn’t use the kitchen but it’s in good shape. Shower wasn’t the best but it was good enough. For the price you can’t beat it, especially compared to hotels that would have been walking distance to the arena. Only downside it was a little loud but honestly wasn’t too bad if you’re used to some noise at night.

Great place to crash for fun times around the park for the price. Traffic noise is from a major freeway off ramp and intersection (it’s right on the corner of that action), so take that into consideration if you’re a light sleeper or planning on working there.

Perfect location! Right across the street from Goodale Park. It was nice when I stayed and I was able to easily walk to the heart of Short North for dinner. Mike and Joe were extremely quick to respond and checkin was a breeze. I would highly recommend this property, will be back for sure!

I had a perfect stay at this beautiful spot. The hosts were helpful and responded within minutes! They even sent a detailed email that answered all of my questions before I even had to ask. The house was spotless and even more gorgeous than the pictures. The location is so convenient and it’s in a very safe neighborhood. Don’t be misled by any negative reviews of this place it’s honestly a steal and I plan on staying here again and have recommended it to my parents for their next upcoming visit because of how much I enjoyed it! Would give more than 5 stars if I could!!!

I was in town for Sonic Temple music festival this weekend and decided to stay for an extra night. This place was conveniently located as I was quickly able to hop over to short north for dinner and then also hop right on the freeway on my way out of town the next morning. Joe and Mike were super communicative and went the extra mile to make sure I had everything I needed. There was also a parking lot at the house as well as free street parking which was convenient and the place was extra cozy and stylish! Kudos guys, I’ll be back again!

Location location location. Hands down a perfect spot to hit everything in Columbus. The park next door was beautiful and yesterday it was a nice day and everyone was out! Place was perfect for our family! Location was simply perfect for our time in Columbus. Loved having super close private parking. Neighborhood felt safe, as the house is a few steps away from a park. Although random cars would honk and sirens would go off during the day; at night, it was quiet and we slept very well! This listing would be perfect for business travel, as the apartment had several desks, even a printer. Place was well-decorated, comfortably designed. We definitely recommend this listing!

If you're looking to explore Short North, this is the place to be! At this location you can easily walk right across the street to Goodale park, as well as many stores and restaurants within 10 minutes. It was so nice to not worry about parking. It's also right off the highway, which is convenient for traveling to other further parts of the city. The building has four condos in it, this listing being one of them. We never had any noise issues with other people, although the trade off for great location is the highway noise. If that's something that will bother you, bring earplugs but to me it was a minor issue in comparison to the things I enjoyed and worth tolerating. The hosts were also very attentive, responsive, and willing to help improve our trip. Any of our concerns were quickly and effectively addressed. Overall, for someone like me who isnt used to city life everything felt safe and accessible in this area and I think this was a great location for us.

This is in a great location for access to the Short North and Nationwide. We just needed a place to rest our heads after a concert and it served our purposes. An issue was responded too and taken care of promptly.

The location of this space can’t be beat. It is within walking distance of High Street and it’s restaurants. Convention Center also walkable as is the North Market. Free parking on premises very convenient. Joe and team were highly responsive to our queries. The space is family friendly with a park and playground right in front.

Joe's Downtown Dreamer is ideally located within walking distance of Short North, directly across from Goodale Park, which is a large park with walking paths, a large pond and picnic shelters. It's a great place to walk a dog, go for a run, play catch or have a picnic The space itself was larger than I thought and had a very comfortable living room and large kitchen. It IS on the corner of Goodale Street, so just know that there is traffic noise, but that is to be expected with a location so near to all of the popular places to go. With the private parking area and side streets there is no issue with parking or leaving the home, and again, it is within easy walking distance or short Uber ride to Short North, which is where most of the restaurants and nightlife is. It also has super-easy access to the highway or main streets to get to the Arena District, downtown, German Town, etc. Joe texted and called me when I arrived to be sure everything was as I expected and reminded me to call or text him if I needed anything. Very friendly, very responsive. I will definitely book with Joe again.

We stayed one night here and it was perfect for a short stay! Check in was smooth and easy, location was nice except for some noise early in the morning due to traffic. The apartment is situated right next to a main road and some noise bleeds into the bedroom. Overall, great communication and a very spacious and comfortable place. The host let us park early before check in. Walking distance to cute Short North area.

This location is perfect. A very short walk to the convention center and all the awesome locations around it. The walk took us right past great food and drink spots. As far as the space itself goes, it was clean and comfortable. The bed was very nice. Well furnished with everything we needed for a 4 night stay. Stayed here when going to concert at Express Live and we were able to walk to venue and back safely. Clean space, HUGE couch, smart TV...easy to make yourself at home here. If you are a light sleeper, you might want to bring earplugs because the house is right by the exit ramp. Other than that, very nice.

Joe's place was great!! The location was so perfect for what we wanted, we saw a concert at the LIVE Express amphitheatre and it was a short walk. It's also a short walk to great bars and restaurants! Check in instructions were laid out super easy, it's my first time using Airbnb so I dont know if that's normal or not.There were 5 of us staying, and even tho Joe provided us with a blow up mattress and extra sheets, 3 of us ended up fitting comfortably on the HUGE sectional and ottoman. The other 2 shared the bed that was suuuper comfy. This was our first Airbnb experience and we were pleasantly surprised! Would absolutely stay here again!

The location was great and he offered a list of great restaurants in the area, my friends and I had a hard time choosing which one to check out because we were only in the area for a short time! If you’re headed to Columbus I highly recommend staying at Joe’s the location is amazing and close to a lot of cool spots and concert venues and is in a really cute neighborhood!
