We are doing everything in our power to fight back against COVID-19, check out photo #2 and #3. Directly facing Goodale Park on its Southwest corner, its best in class location is 250 feet to 1/2 a mile walking distance to all of your Convention Center, Nationwide Arena District, Short North and Downtown recreational and business endeavors. Location is everything and this space allows you to experience it with all of the high end, top of the line finishes of a modern downtown, first floor condo.

The space

This space comes fully furnished with all of your modern lodging accommodations including a full kitchen with a full set of dishes, cooking utensils, high end dishwasher, oven, microwave and stove top. Our living area is furnished decoratively with plenty of seating arrangements, luxurious sectional and a television set. The bedroom houses a closet for storage and an extra high end air mattress upon request. Extra guests can sleep comfortably on our large sectional or high end air mattress. A shared washer and dryer is available on the basement level along with additional storage. Best of all, this space comes with free off street parking, a rarity in any greater metropolitan area and especially the always hectic to park in Short North.

While this listing was renovated in the summer of 2019 it is a bit of an unorthodox lay out. That being the case, this listing isn’t necessarily the best if you are looking for a super cozy stay and don’t care about the location at all. On the other hand, if you are looking to take advantage of this spots location to gain easy access to concerts , convention, arena district and short north events and don’t mind a little bit of a different room lay out this is the place for you. Rest assured that we take care of our listings with great cleaning and purchase comfortable furniture no matter what the lay out!

**This home has direct access to the 670 Freeway, because of this you may hear some car noise from the passing cars.**

This was such a cozy little place to have a little staycation in. Bed and couch are both very comfortable, fully stocked kitchen and bathroom made it easy to relax and not worry about anything.

The space was great. Dedicated parking in an easy to find location. Tons of things to do around the condo within a short walking distance. Our plans blew up due to the virus going around and everything shutting down but we made the best of it. Place was clean and comfortable. Quick responses when we needed to communicate with him to make sure we were still good to go with being able to stay there. The only thing I would caution someone about is that If you have trouble sleeping or staying asleep it can be a bit noisy as it is close to the highway but it didn't affect either of us. Would 100% stay again!

The location of this apartment is ideal as it is close to OSU, downtown, the Short North, Grandview and Nationwide Children's Hospital.

This is a great place to stay when visiting Columbus. It is a short walk from the convention center and shops. Communication with Joe was good and the photos reflect what you are getting. Do I recommend Joe's place? Yes !!!

I was in Columbus for the Veterinary Conference and needed somewhere that was within walking distance to the convention center and was in an area I felt safe. All I needed was a place to hang out and sleep after spending all day in lectures. It was a wonderful little place, if I go to the conference next year I will be seeing if this place is available!

This is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for convenience! You are so close to downtown and everything Columbus has to offer. I was at first worried about being located right next to the road but i felt perfectly safe the moment i got there. Check in was super easy and so was check out. Overall really great stay with really great hosts!

This place is in an amazing location! A beautiful park right across the street, great parking and walking distance to all of the coolest eateries in The Short North. This is a great value if you’re visiting Columbus. The hosts are very quick to respond to any of your needs and are my go to hosts when i visit Cbus. Enjoy!

Clean place and really everything you need! Dishes in the cabinets, pots and pans in the cupboards, coffee, fresh towels, and toiletries. Within walking distance to short north and local restaurants, this place is a great deal!

The location is great! Close to the short north where there’s plenty of restaurants. I had a little issue getting into the unit itself (wrong information sent) but other than that, the place worked out great for my stay. Side note - the unit doesn’t have a mirror, so if you think you might need one to get ready, I would make sure to at least pack a compact mirror with you just in case.

This was an amazing place. The decor was super cute and homey. It was a private secluded area, but so close to major attractions! We drove 3 minutes to nationwide arena. Definitely will be back when we make a trip back to Columbus!

Description of the unit was exactly as described. We did not realize the door shown in the bedroom photo was an exterior door, which did lead to a safety issue, but that was handled right away by the owner, Mike. Location was very convenient to our visit.

This spot was so perfect! We had a concert to attend and we were able to walk downtown to our venue and to dinner. The park across the street was a great convenience and huge perk for us. They had a lot of towels and pillows available and I just love that. :) Side note: if you cannot sleep with traffic noise then you may want ear plugs. It didn’t bother us but light sleepers might struggle.

This airbnb was incredibly easy to get to, the free parking was such a valuable amenity, and being right across from a large park was pleasant on the eyes. The bedroom stayed cool due to a window AC unit, while the rest of the apartment was a little stuffy. The style was very modern, and the decor was clean and simple. The bathroom sink's hot water was non-operational, but the hot water in the shower and kitchen worked perfectly. There was enough toiletries to last you a few days. This airbnb was everything I needed it to be, and I do intend on staying here in the future when I'm in town.

We enjoyed our stay very much the apartment was very clean and roomy the bed was very comfortable and the sheets were amazing it was quiet but still close to all things downtown Columbus. There was coffee available and even had wine glasses for our girls night. Shower worked great water was hot and good shampoo conditioner. Had a great time

I stayed for four nights and had an excellent experience. The hosts were incredibly responsive when I had any questions, and the space was very clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with all the usual things. I was attending a work conference downtown, and it was a quick 10-minute walk to the conference venue. The location is really charming: in the Victorian Village, right across from a beautiful park that was perfect for morning jogs.

Easy check-in, easy to find the space. Less than a 10min. walk to the convention center. Right across the street from a nice park. Everything was clean and comfortable. Separate kitchen, living, and bedroom. Full kitchen, HOT shower, comfy couch, nicely placed lighting. You may want to bring a sleep mask/ear plugs as the house is very near a freeway and there is an outside light on all night that shines in the window and sneaks past the curtains in the bedroom. It fell on my face and woke me up several times each night. The noise didn't bother me - I just put on some music and fell right asleep - but you may want to have earplugs if you are a light sleeper. This is the only reason I didn't give a full 5 stars. I would absolutely stay again, though.

This was a nice quiet little place. It was exceptionally clean. The bed was even comfortable and I usually have a hard time sleeping on beds that aren’t mine. The one negative I had were the windows. It’s right next to a pretty busy road and the windows are thin so if you want to sleep in the car noise might be an issue. But I’m also a light sleeper so it might just be me. I had two issues, one was an oversight on my part that when I brought up I was corrected quickly, the WiFi password. The other was the temperature, it was roasting when I went in there. I let them know and, again, it was remedied quickly. I would definitely stay there again. It’s perfect for a single person or a couple wanting to get away and disappear.

This is a centrally located no frills condo. It was small but super easy to get to as it was right off the highway. That being said, you can hear traffic. The tradeoff is a great park across the street that my dog liked. Joe provided excellent customer service. I called with a question about which parking space was correct and he answered right away and talked me into getting into the unit. He then recommended a great pizza place that i ordered from. Unfortunately my dog was really stressed out from traveling and peed on the rug. There was a fee for this, which I had read about in advance and was hoping this didn't happen. I totally understand and believe the fee was reasonable. Right after leaving, I called Joe and told him what happened. He was really kind about it and reduced the fee from $200 to $150 for my honesty and being a good guest. I would 100% recommend booking with this host. The only reason I didn't give this a 5 star review was the traffic noise.

Location was close downtown and the apartment was very well kept and clean. The sounds of cars driving by on the main road outside of the room and some of the other complex residents provided a little excess noise but never became an issue. Overall, great place to stay and good bang for your buck.
